"All Those Years"

In Winter 2011, a friend hosted an alma mater reunion dinner reception and included me as one of the guests. I thought I should add value in the process by performing an original topical song. Very quickly, I came up with "All Those Years" - a tri-lingual love song about Shung Tak College (STC).

When the night came, I brought my guitar and surprised participants at an appropriate time with my song. I was very encouraged with the guests' warm reception. A former Principal remarked that the lyrics were particularly good.

So, by popular demand, I should perform the song again in another School function. Later, a music teacher kindly transcribed the melody of "All Those Year" into a sheet music. I did not sing that well in the other function though.

In Winter 2016, I participated in my alta mater's annual Speech Day function. In a reception room, I was struck to see that the music sheet of "All Those Years" had become one of the School's memorabilia. So, in the season of love, I re-recorded the song, produced the music video and uploaded it for public viewing.
