"Lantern Festival"

I wrote the "Lantern Festival" song on the festive day 2016. I first thought about the lyrics and then the melody followed. I quickly recorded it and managed to share the music video with just a few friends that day.

Whether this minor-key song is heard or seen as sad or exceptionally happy would depend on the mood of the listener. The music and the lyrics of the song have been relevant, compelling and resonating to me. In the 2017 music video version, I have only modified the scenes to make a visual difference.

Life is really like a drama, full of escalating conflicts. Through twists and turns, we resolve them and adapt to the changes. Not only that we transform and uplift ourselves, we live on to tell our stories in whatever cultural expressions!
