"Very Good Wishes!"

On 30 December, 2016, I thought about writing a song to celebrate the new year. I spent two hours to compose the music and lyrics of a song. When I tried to record it, I found it was not as good as my previous release and so I put it aside.

When I went to sleep, it was about 1.00 am on 31 December. Somehow, a few easy listening notes woke me up around 5.00 am. I quickly recorded them and went back to bed. But within an hour, I got totally different verses and melodies of the song "Very Good Wishes!"

I wasted no time to get up to compose the full melodies and lyrics, find the guitar chords and record the song after over a dozen takes. It took me about two hours to edit the music video. It was about six-hour of intensive intellectual engagement before this short music video "Very Good Wishes!" could come into existence - on the last day of 2016.
